Experience and Education


Bachelors degree in health, science, nursing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Two (2) years experience with interrogation, troubleshooting, and reprogramming of implantable cardiac devices required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA), required.
Certification through the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) or Credentialing Cardiovascular International (CCI) required within 18 months of date of hire.

Job Duties


Perform evaluation and reprogramming of implantable pacemakers, defibrillators and loop recorders.
Perform ambulatory monitoring and other related non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures.
Analyze results from device interrogations and report findings to clinic physicians and/or nursing personnel.
Perform device management and documentation using designated cardiology information systems.
Demonstrate exceptional clinical and problem solving skills. Utilize specialized knowledge of medical terminology and cardiac anatomy and physiology.
Perform or assist with other related cardiac procedures.
May provide working supervision to staff of lower grade.
Perform other duties as assigned.
