Experience and Education


High school diploma or equivalent and no experience is required.
**Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Nurse's Aid certification** Preferred:Home Health Nursing and six (6) months experience

Job Duties


Performs duties as assigned on home health care plan prepared by registered nurse.
Obtains and documents patient vital signs, including temperature, weight, respiration, and pulse.
Reports changes in patient's mental or physical condition or in home situation to nursing supervisor.
Assists other members of nursing team and/or other disciplines.
Provides personal care assistance to patients.
Maintains patient records and charts to ensure accurate record of treatment.
Maintains confidentiality of patient data.
Assists in maintaining healthy, safe environment.
Attends mandatory inservice educational programs as required by federal and state regulations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
